The Watcher At The Bottom Of The Stairs
It never occurs to someone how eerie the darkness at the bottom of the black stairway can be until you see eyes staring up at you. Just eyes, nothing else. An entity with no body. However here's the thing, they've always been there, watching, but you're just now noticing it. You can feel it, but sometimes it get's shy and doesn't show it's self when you turn around to check your surroundings, but it still likes to watch as you walk up the stairs at night. It likes to watch it's unsuspecting victims in the dark as they either slowly walk up the stairs, or quickly hurry up them. But if you hurry up the stairs, it's because you can feel it's gaze. Those who don't, can't feel it watching them. It will always be in the same spot each night, at the foot of the steps, watching.
